The Needs:
Making the route creation processes accessible in a clear and user-friendly way. Until this feature, the picking route could be determined in the system in the back office only

The solution:
Enable the manager to navigate the store and make decisions based on the floor layout
- the ability to view the aisles and products via his mobile device or the dedicated picking device. being able to change the order and the location of the products in real time and correctly understand the route.
- Efficient and accurate mapping and route creation that will lead to faster and more cost-effective picking processes.
choosing a picking method
Choose the most efficient route for the order you’re picking: a zig-zag route moves systematically from one side to the other, while a U-turn route moves in a straight line up the aisle and back again. in the next steps the manager will have the option to specify the picking direction.

As the user walks the route in the store, he will choose the aisle order accordingly and will organize the sections within the chosen aisle

monitoring the progres in real time
Display progress in the mapping of the aisles in a progress bar that updates in real time.
The user marks each time which aisle he is walking to next in the store, after he has finished mapping the areas and products. That aisle will move to the correct location according to the user and will be colored green to distinguish the aisles that have been mapped.

Performing the mapping process while walking the route in the store allows for an accurate route and a clear process for creating the mapping and streamlines the picking process for all pickers in the store. All order picking in this branch will be based on the defined mapping, picking time will be reduced and each picker will be able to pick a larger number of orders at the same time.
